Alexander McQueen, “Untitled”, 1999
Shalom Harlow walks in a white plain dress, presuming the pureness of the canvas that invites a couple of robotic arms to shoot paint while she spins in a theatrical performance. The encounter between histrionic humanity and technologic innovation seems to be the shock tactic of the piece, while its form -live creation in front of a public expecting finished products instead of creation processes- results impeccably controversial.
